• Is CDF Laminate Waterproof?

  CDF Laminate is water resistant, not waterproof. It can withstand normal spills when cleaned promptly, but prolonged exposure to water should be avoided.

• Does CDF Laminate Require a Level Floor?

  Yes. The subfloor should be reasonably flat and stable to ensure the click-lock system performs properly and to prevent movement or uneven joints.

• Can CDF Laminate Be Installed Over Existing Tiles?

  Yes, provided the existing tiles are stable, reasonably level and suitable for a floating-floor installation. Uneven areas may require leveling first.

• How Does CDF Laminate Feel Compared With SPC?

  CDF Laminate generally feels denser, warmer and more natural when walked on, while SPC feels firmer and offers stronger resistance to water.

• Is CDF Laminate Scratch Resistant?

  Yes. Its durable surface layer provides excellent resistance against normal daily wear and scratches, although sharp objects and dragging heavy furniture should still be avoided.

• Is CDF Laminate Anti-Termite?

  CDF Laminate has good resistance to normal household use, but because it contains a fibreboard-based core, it should not be marketed as completely termite-proof like SPC or vinyl flooring.

• Do You Provide Site Measurement?

  Yes. We provide professional site measurement to ensure accurate quantities and quotation. A RM100 measurement fee applies and will be fully credited towards your initial deposit when you proceed with us.

• Why Is Wastage Required?

  Additional flooring is required for cutting and fitting during installation. We typically allow approximately 5% wastage for standard layouts, while more complex layouts may require a higher allowance.

• Why Is Wastage Important When Comparing Quotations?

  A lower price per sqft does not always mean a lower final cost. A quotation with a lower rate but significantly higher wastage may result in a higher total amount.

  Always compare the total flooring quantity and final payable amount, not just the price per sqft.

• Does CDF Laminate Come With a Warranty?

  Yes. Our CDF Laminate flooring comes with a Warranty, covering manufacturing defects and installation workmanship, subject to our warranty terms and conditions.

  Please note that damage caused by water leakage, subfloor moisture, uneven flooring, improper use, or external factors is not covered under the warranty.
