  WPC decking is not recommended for areas with extreme heat sources, permanent water submersion or unsuitable supporting structures. The installation area must also allow proper drainage and sufficient structural support.

• Is WPC Outdoor Decking Waterproof?

  Yes. WPC outdoor decking is specifically designed to withstand normal outdoor weather conditions, including rain, sunlight and changing temperatures. Some colour change over time is normal with prolonged UV exposure.

• Does WPC Outdoor Decking Require a Level Floor?

  The existing surface does not necessarily need to be perfectly level because the decking is installed over a supporting batten or joist system. However, the base must be structurally suitable and allow proper water drainage.

• Can WPC Outdoor Decking Be Installed Over Existing Tiles?

  Yes. In many cases, WPC decking can be installed over existing outdoor tiles without hacking them, provided the existing surface is stable and there is sufficient height for the decking and supporting structure.

• Does WPC Outdoor Decking Require a Support Frame?

  Yes. WPC decking is normally installed over WPC or suitable support battens/joists rather than directly onto the floor. This provides support, creates the required installation height and allows water to drain underneath.

• Why Is Wastage Required?

  Additional flooring is required for cutting and fitting during installation. We typically allow approximately 5% wastage for standard layouts, while more complex layouts may require a higher allowance.

• Why Is Wastage Important When Comparing Quotations?

  A lower price per sqft does not always mean a lower final cost. A quotation with a lower rate but significantly higher wastage may result in a higher total amount.

  Always compare the total flooring quantity and final payable amount, not just the price per sqft.

• Does WPC Outdoor Decking Come With a Warranty?

  Yes. Our WPC Decking comes with a Warranty, covering manufacturing defects and installation workmanship, subject to our warranty terms and conditions.

  Please note that damage caused by water leakage, subfloor moisture, uneven flooring, improper use, or external factors is not covered under the warranty.
